Big changes are happening in Riceville—ones that strengthen healthcare access across the region. On Wednesday, April 2, Mitchell County Regional Health Center (MCRHC) celebrated the grand opening of its new clinic.
The upgraded clinic features larger exam rooms, state-of-the- art technology and a welcoming environment for both patients and providers. Most importantly, it ensures that communities in and around Riceville have continued access to high-quality healthcare.
“Our former location in Riceville just didn’t give us the space to fully meet our patient’s needs,” said Shelly Russell, MCRHC CEO.
Russell and MCRHC Board of Trustees President Betty McCarthy addressed a crowd before officially cutting the ribbon. Guests then had the opportunity to tour the new facility and enjoy refreshments.
“This is such an exciting time,” Russell added. “We take our commitment to patient care and trust seriously, and this expansion is just another way we’re continuing to provide the best healthcare possible for our communities.”
